Resveratrol: A Close Look

Resveratrol has been in the market for quite some time now and still people are thinking about resveratrol side effects. Well the question is do resveratrol have such claims? Well before heading to that conclusion we must first take a closer look in which why resveratrol is a very successful supplement in its department. Making it the number one food supplement that would help us keep ageing at bay, so where do we start? First what are the components behind resveratrol? The main component behind resveratrol would be red wine.

Well grapes to be exact, the skin of the grapes contains natural resveratrol in which this would active in our body if taken by humans. This in return would activate the gene in our bodies that would help us regenerate faster and give us the promise of longevity. Also studies have been made about resveratrol being the saviour of mankind! So where did that story start? Well the research was about how humans deprived of food when we were still in our hunting-gathering stages in which we would not have the modern day groceries to feed us all the food we need. On those days people or homo sapiens would rely on food on what they can hunt every day.

With the climate changing every now and then there would be times in which people would have a hard time eating. Thus our bodies would lack the natural intake of calories, for example if winter time would come hunting for meat would be made much more difficult. Not to mention people back then worked with crude weapons and hunting tools that would make the hunt much more difficult as well. With that people began eating berries and shrubs that accidentally contained resveratrol. This are natural substances that the plants would secrete when they are in a stressed environment.

And with harsh conditions mentioned the plants would go into the stressed state and begin producing resveratrol. People would eat those plants, berries and herbs not knowing that those contained resveratrol. That would then activate in their bodies and would activate the gene in our body to go on heavy duty drive. Which means that without that much intake of calories our bodies would still survive and the rate of regeneration would even increase, that’s what resveratrol can do for our bodies. And that’s what helped the human kind escape extinction.

This study has been made a few years ago by a scientist wanting to prove that resveratrol was once a potent drug used by people unknowingly but promoting good health. With advanced research technology we could now make resveratrol into a capsule in which we can make our lives a much more healthier life compared to without resveratrol.
